IFPA will launch the first supply chain best practices webinar for its Asian members on March 31st. The webinar will assist members in improving the quality of fresh produce and reduce the shrinkage during transportation.

Emily Moyer, IFPA’s VP of Regulatory Compliance & Global Food Standards, will start the webinar by providing an overview of the produce safety resources and support IFPA offers to its membership. Then, Ed Treacy, IFPA’s VP of Supply Chain and Sustainability, will present on fresh produce transportation best practices for all modes of transportation, including Truck, Rail, Air, and Marine. The  IFPA Fresh Produce Transportation Best Practices  document will be explained including guidelines for Storage Temperatures for each commodity of fresh produce. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with the two speakers.

Who Should Attend?

IFPA Asian members as well as international members with an Asia office are welcome to join the webinar. Simultaneous translation in mandarin will be provided.
